Hope you all have had great year! I will try to write here more and more this year. I have some cool trips coming this year...

I was out today with my family and it was nice cold winter day, with lots of new snow from last night

I did took my Canon 5Dmk2 body and basic 50mm F/1.4 lens outside and took some photos of my dog running around in snow :) Great fun with kids and dog!
I was outside round 1,5 hours and I was shooting photos basically all the time...I did not find any problems at all on my Canon so I was happy how that worked. I have heard some of the owners have had some issues with cold weather but I have not find any real problems at all.
I know it cant take any heavy rain, like my D3 and any 1Ds models of Canon, but this body is good for my studio, underwater and some landscape photos...I like that a lot. Cant wait to get 1Dmk4 when it comes...I still need really fast body for my fishing action photos. 5Dmk2 way too slow for that kind of photos, but maybe one of the best for landscape and portrait photos.
Anyway, my 5Dmk2 did not die after 1,5 hours in -17 weather :)
